Elan is a provider of English language arts training services for children aged 3-15 in China. The first Elan school opened its doors in March 2013. Presently, there are 20 Elan schools operating in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Foshan. In early 2016, Elan School was acquired by Country Garden Education Group/ 碧桂园集团 (now rebranded as Bright Scholar Education Group, a publicly-listed company on the NYSE), one of China's largest education providers, serving over 30,000 students and employing 60,000 staff members.
Job Description
- Job Title: English Literature and Reading Teacher
- Responsibilities: Teaching English Literature and Reading
- Location1: XY Campus - Xiangyun Town, Shunyi District, Beijing (A vibrant international community in Beijing)
- Location2: WJ Campus - F3, Tower 2, Building C, Wangjing SOHO, Chaoyang District, Beijing
- Location3: HSH Campus – F3, Heshenghui Office Building, Chaoyang District, Beijing
- Start Date: Immediate/ June
- Students: Ages 5-15
- Working Hours:
- Weekdays: 11:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. (1-hour break included)
- Weekends: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (1-hour break included)
- Off on Wednesdays and Thursdays
* Working days and working hours may slightly vary depending on the campus to which you are deployed.
Salary & Benefits
- Monthly Salary: RMB 18,000 - 28,000 (Negotiable based on experience and professionalism)
- Flight Reimbursement: Up to RMB 8,000 annually
- Insurance: Commercial Insurance
- Annual Leave: 11 Days (over 2 weeks in total)
- Fully Paid Sick Leave: 3 Days per year
- Contract Renewal Bonus: Up to 50% of monthly salary (Based on annual performance)
- Extra Monthly Bonus: Up to RMB 11,000 (Based on class hours, students, and student renewal rate)

- Group Team Building: Team building trips, parties, Chinese culture forums, experiencing Chinese traditional holidays, etc.
*Please note that this is a benefit package; all other benefits are in addition to the monthly salary.
Requirements
1. Experience: Professional English teaching experience
2. Language: Native English speakers preferred; experienced non-native speakers are also welcome
3. Passion: Love working with children
